Disability Awareness Program

General Objective of the Program:

Identify and understand the main types of invisible disabilities

Strengthen inclusion and take a step back from prejudices to foster better collaboration

Improve interaction and empathy toward individuals with disabilities

Develop cooperation skills through both formal and informal workplace situations
Available Immersive Modules:
Module 1
Open Space / Workplace Collaboration
Training Content:
In an open space environment, you will interact with colleagues living with various disabilities: Asperger’s syndrome, musculoskeletal disorders, hearing impairments… The scenes aim to help detect issues, manage misunderstandings, and overcome unconscious bias.
Training Objectives:

Interact more effectively with neurodiverse individuals

Module 2
Office / One-on-One Meeting Between Manager and Employee
Training content:
Observe a conversation between a manager and a new team member with a hearing impairment.
Training objectives:

Understand hearing impairments and experience communication challenges through embodiment

Improve communication and interaction in the presence of hearing-related difficulties
-
Enhance emotional and relational intelligence
Module 3
Cafétéria/ pause-café non formelle entre collègues
Training content:
Participate in a casual coffee break discussion with colleagues, including individuals with hearing impairments and Asperger’s syndrome.
Training objectives:

As a manager, learn to integrate everyone and implement inclusive management practices

Strengthen team cohesion and understanding


Module 4
Meeting Room / Formal Discussion Between Two Colleagues
Training content:Take part in a sensitive meeting between two coworkers, one of whom has diabetes.
Training objectives:

Apply emotional and relational intelligence in conflict situations

Practice stepping back and using non-violent communication techniques
Module 5
Meeting Room / Formal Team Meeting With a Manager
Training content:Join a team meeting with a member who has Crohn’s disease.
Training objectives:

Shift perspectives on differences

Eliminate misunderstandings and encourage non-judgmental, compassionate behavior

Promote open communication around disability


Module 6
Canteen Hallway / Informal Chat Between Colleagues
Training content:
Engage in a conversation at the cafeteria with a colleague living with bipolar disorder.
Training objectives:

Recognize behavior differences linked to mental health conditions that may cause misinterpretations

Learn to decode unique behaviors and avoid judgmental errors
Module 7
Office Meeting / One-on-One With Manager and Employee
Training content:
Experience a meeting where an employee attempts to share personal challenges with their manager.
Training objectives:

Encourage managers to develop appropriate leadership practices

Cultivate empathy, active listening, openness, and a supportive mindset
